High Falls is seasonal and can dry up entirely during the drier months, so it’s best to view it in the spring or after a heavy rain. This waterfall is unique in that its crest is a large slab of rock that slopes to one side. Even when the waterfall is flowing at its best, most of the crest is totally dry as the water is pushed to one side.
